Product Description

The German army used several ordinances for camouflage on their vehicles during WWII.

This set includes the most important colors in use from 1937 to 1944, and includes 6 colors designed to represent the initial Dunkelbraun and Dunkelgrey camo, the middle war version of Dunkelgelb and a green color used by Waffen SS and Polizei units on light and second line vehicles.

Finally, the set also includes two different versions of Olivegrun, allowing the modeler represent the different paint conditions and faded effects for this color.

For the first time we will be able to paint German tanks without complex mixes and hours of research.

To ensure historical accuracy AK paints have been designed taking into account the Scale Reduction Effect*; AK acrylic paints are water soluble and can be applied by brush and airbrush; additionally, AK paints are free of odors.

Our AFV series paints are not only historically accurate and specially formulated with top quality components to exacting standards but take into account the effect of scale reduction.

Ready to use straight from the bottle; simply shake, and the paint is ready to go.

Dilution is not necessary when airbrushing AK paints.

However, when painting camouflage or fine lines, add a few drops of our specially formulated thinner AK-712.

Useful with all acrylic paints, AK-712 improves the performance of the paint and is vastly superior to most other available thinners.

This set contains:
- AK 704 RAL 7021 Dunkelgrau (17ml)
- AK 752 RAL 6003 Olivegrün opt.1 (17ml)
- AK 753 RAL 7028 Dunkelgelb (Initial) (17ml)
- AK 754 RAL 7017 Dunkelbraun (17ml)
- AK 755 RAL 6003 Olivgrün opt.2 (17ml)
- AK 756 Polizei / Waffen SS grün (17ml)

*A model tank reflects less light than an actual full size tank; this means the color applied to the model must be of a lighter shade to look the same as the full sized version. If the exact same shade were applied to each, the model would appear darker as it reflects less light.
